Audrey Turner Obituary
November 1, 2024
JOHNSON CITY - Audrey Clark Turner, 92, Johnson City, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
She was born in Hampton and was a daughter of the late Alfred and Juanita Odom Clark.
Audrey was a member of Milligan Free Will Baptist Church. She retired after over 30 years from United Inter-Mountain Telephone Company as a switchboard operator
Audrey enjoyed bowling, traveling, and working jigsaw puzzles.
In addition to her parents Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Turner and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sisters, Opal Shell and Katherine Clark; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Jeanette Elliott and Phyllis Street.
The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in Mountain Home National Cemetery with Pastor Mark Steet, officiating. Those who wish to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50 a.m.
In-lieu-of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
