Anna Davidson Obituary

BOILING SPRINGS - Anna Ruth Evans Davidson, 94, Boiling Springs, formally of the Boones Creek Community, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Lakewood Assisted Living.
She was born in Kirkwood, IL and was a daughter of the late George and Georgia Loyd Evans.
Anna was a member of Marvins Chapel United Methodist Church where she enjoyed doing many church activities. She was the chairperson and member of several committees including United Methodist Women. Anna was also a member of Boones Creek Historical Trust.
Anna was a teacher and guidance counselor for Washington County Board of Education. She taught grades first through fifth for 10 years, then a teacher and guidance counselor of grades seventh through ninth for four years. Anna finished her career at Daniel Boone High School after being there for 15 years. Her passion was working with children and youth.
She liked listening to traditional gospel music, doing family genealogy, and reading about local history. Her biggest enjoyment in life was being with family and friends. Anna and Bob Davidson would have celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary on March 4, 2025.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by brothers, Homer Denis Evans (Caryl), Billy Dean Evans (Fern).
Survivors include her husband, Robert William Davidson; son David Dwayne Davidson (Rebecca); grandsons, Drew Eliot Davidson (Megan), Dylan Ryan Davidson; granddaughter Devan Grace Davidson Blackwell (Dana); great granddaughters, Ava Davidson, Harper Davidson, Becca Blackwell and Saylor Davidson; great grandsons; Kason Davidson, Luke Davidson, and Brody Blackwell.
The visitation for Anna will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City. The committal service will follow in the mausoleum chapel of Washington County Memory Gardens with Pastor Ken Lytton and Pastor Joel Cook, officiating.
In-lieu-of flowers the family asks donations to be made to Marvens Chapel United Methodist Church, 1882 Old Boones Creek Road, Johnson City, Tennessee 37615.

Mr. Davidson, David and to her daughter-in-law and all those grandchildren: I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your wife, mom, grandmom. I graduated from DBHS in 1979 and Mrs. Davidson was always friendly, helpful and had a smile on her face. I will be praying for you as you face the future without her. May God bless you all with much comfort.
