PINEY FLATS - Angela "Angie" Suder, age 57 of Piney Flats, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 4, 2023 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Angie was born in Boone, North Carolina to the late Dana and Geraldine Blevins Peters.
Angie worked at Holston Elementary School and enjoyed documentaries. She loved being a mom and wife! It was her life's work to touch others with joy. She was a master gardener and loved going to the beach and her pets.
Those left to cherish and remember Angie include her loving husband, Joey Suder of the home; two daughters, Lindsey Suder and Daniel of Piney Flats and Lauren Suder and Kody also of Piney Flats; her son, Justin Suder and wife Tiana of Henderson, Nevada; one grandchild; her sister, Karen Gentry of Johnson City; and her brother, Greg Peters of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A celebration of Angie's life will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 7, 2023 in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton with Pastor Nathan Jennings officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel prior to the service on Thursday.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 8, 2023 in the Blevins Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Daniel Davis, Kody Burke, Justin Suder and others selected from family and friends. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton at 10:15 AM on Friday to go in procession to the cemetery.
Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations in Angie's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
