Alma Honeycutt July 31, 1943- July 4, 2024 ERWIN - Alma Honeycutt, age 80, of Erwin, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Unicoi County Hosptial. Alma is a daughter of the late General Ross and Bessie Lucinda Garland Gaddy. She was a member of Marbleton Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed working with her flowers. In addition to her parents, Alma is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Honeycutt; brothers, Ralph Gaddy, Clarence Gaddy, Paul Gaddy; nephews, Chris Gaddy, Dale Gaddy; and niece, Heidi Smith.
Alma Honeycutt has left behind to cherish her memory: brothers, David Gaddy and wife, Debbie, Roger Gaddy and wife, Sherry; nieces; Heather Driscoll and husband, Chad, Jessica Swope and husband, Will; great nephews, Peyton McCay, Liam Swope who was very special to his auntie Alma and enjoyed spending time with her, he will truly miss her; and great niece, Hartley McCay.
The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Alma Honeycutt in a committal service to be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Reverend Tim Broyles and Reverend Phillip Garland will officiate. Those attending the committal service should meet at Roselawn Memory Gardens by 1:50 PM on Tuesday. Serving as active pallbearers will be: CJ Bryant, Will Swope, Michael Smith, Chad Williams, Mike Barcel, Les Honeycutt, and Wayne Powers. Honorary pallbearers are Bruce Randolph, Earl Fulwiler, Danny Fulwiler, Chad Driscoll, Peyton McCay, Liam Swope, Brett Williams, Caleb Williams, and Corbin Powers.
