ERWIN - Alisa Nielsen, age 60, of Erwin, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Winter Garden, FL, Alisa is a daughter of the late Charles and Faith (Conrad) Sanders. She was of the Church of Christ faith. Alisa loved taking care of her grandson, fishing, and being on the water by the ocean. In addition to her parents, Alisa is preceded in death by her sons: Little Shaun Erik Nielsen and Tyler Ray Nielsen; brothers: Charles Anthony Sanders and Hugh Touchton Sanders; and sister, Marnita Faith Buchanan.
Alisa Nielsen has left behind to cherish her memory: husband of 42 years, Shaun Nielsen; daughter, Nicole Anne Nielsen Morefield and husband Brad; grandson, Finn Morefield: sisters; Diane Pridgeon, Shari Hopson and Dorie White; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; mother-in-law, Sandra Nielsen; and brother-in-law, Ryan Nielsen and wife Vikki and their children from Minnesota.
The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Alisa Nielsen in a memorial service to be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Valley Funeral Home. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 2:00 pm and continue until service time on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Valley Funeral Home.
