Akita Trobaugh Obituary

JONESBOROUGH - Akita Dominique (Cilley) Trobaugh, age 31, and Thomas (Tommy) Kyle Trobaugh, age 33, of Jonesborough, TN passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at their home due to a housefire.

They both shared a deep, unshakable love for each other, their three surviving children, and the "country life". They will be greatly missed by all who knew them. Anyone who had the pleasure of seeing one of Akita's genuinely huge smiles or being on the receiving end of Tommy's witty humor, will know that the world seems just a little less bright with these two kind, generous, and down-to-earth souls gone. Their memories and stories will live on in their children and the many, many family members and friends who survive them.

A Memorial Service to honor the life of Akita and Thomas Trobaugh, an undeniably caring and humble couple, will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Jonesborough Middle School, 308 Forest Drive, Jonesborough, TN 37659.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the funeral services and final expenses for Tommy and Akita may be made directly to Mountain Empire Cremation and Burial Services (423-913-4818).
