Larry Fisher Obituary
He was a member of Mechanicsburg First Church of God where he attended his entire life. He loved serving his church family and was currently the Choir Director. He is retired from Johnson Controls Inc.
He married Shirley (Rhine) Fisher and they shared many wonderful years together until her passing in 2021. He was a devoted husband.
Larry is survived by his sister, Wendy Redinger and husband Randy of Liberty, KY; seven nieces, two nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. He loved and cherished them all. He was truly a "Funcle" (Fun Uncle).
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Dorothy Fisher, wife, Shirley Fisher, and two brothers, Thomas Fisher and David Fisher.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mechanicsburg First Church of God, 28 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.

I was lucky to have known Larry for 50 years. We worked together at Johnson Controls. He was always a good guy and great friend. I remember him fondly. Sincere condolences to his family. I know he is reunited with Shirl.

I had the pleasure of meeting Larry and his sister-in-law, Brenda, at the MHS Alumni Dinner in early June,2024 when his brother, Tom, was posthumously inducted into the school's Hall of Fame. Larry spoke on his brother's behalf. He was clearly appreciative of the honor bestowed on his late brother. I enjoyed talking to Larry and hearing of his career with Johnson Controls and his church life. He was a true "townie" who loved the 'burg.
He was a gentleman and a delight to chat with. I'm glad I had an opportunity to meet him. Rest in Peace, Larry.
