Larry Lee Jackson, 77, of Andersonville, Tenn., formerly of Galien, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at his home.
He was born Oct. 24, 1948, in Benton Township in Berrien County, to the late Loys and Myrna Jackson.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam. Larry was a great father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed competition playing pool and darts with his friends. Larry was very generous to those who were in need. His fascination was research with genealogy.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Rex Jackson; sisters: Janie Jackson and Sandra Szlanfucht.
Larry is survived by his son, Lance Jackson of Michigan City, Ind.; daughters: Carrie Jensen (Gary) of Andersonville, Tenn., and Kymberly Zoll (Jacob) of Laporte, Ind.; grandchildren: Ruby, Emmett, Elaina, Noah, Joseph, Julia, Andrew, Alex, Nathan, Caleb, Peighton, Kaitlyn and Zander; also seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Larry were at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 20, in Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Andersonville, Tenn., with Pastor Larry Ridenour officiating and with full military honors.
Jones Mortuary LLC in Clinton, Tenn., is honored to serve the family of Larry Lee Jackson.
