Betty Mae Wisneski, 86, of St. Joseph passed away on Feb. 23, 2026.
Born May 16, 1939, in Pigeon, Mich., she moved to St. Joseph in the 1960s. Betty enjoyed traveling with family and friends, exploring destinations across the U.S., Mexico, Rio de Janeiro, Europe and on many cruises.
She worked as an insurance agent for 35 years and owned Apple Insurance Agency until her retirement in 1998.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Thaddeus; and sisters: Donna and Janie.
She is survived by her children: Patty (Don) Burns, Jeff Wisneski and Brian (Tammy) Wisneski; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26, at the Starks and Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Caring Circle Hospice. Feel free to share a memory with the family on their online tribute wall at www.starks-menchinger.com.
