Miles Sanstad Obituary

1989 - 2024

Born in Seattle, Washington, raised on Whidbey Island.

Miles was a unique individual, proudly crafting his own path, fearless from a young age, and deeply committed to a life of helping others. Private, intense and self-assured, a possessor of ancient wisdom, he faced any challenge or adversity with strength and commitment.

He described himself: "Author, Artist, Student, Science! His considerable interest in science focused primarily on brain science and overall physical health, and, above all, neurofeedback, a practice he planned to offer freely to all comers, as he worked to create his own healing center. Additionally, through his creative venture, Aeroganic, he had been working more recently on designing a home-scale, simple vertical farming system, easy to use and adaptable for even the smallest of dwellings.

Miles was also very serious about boats and the ocean, as he repaired, modified, cruised and sailed several of his own boats around the Salish Sea over the years, as well as in the coastal Pacific while living in Costa Rica during the early part of this century.

Brilliant, expansive, interested and intensely interesting, Miles' great sense of himself and his path ahead drove a big life, a life of love, learning, and energetic engagement on many levels.

Smooth Sailing, Brave Warrior. May Your Winds Be Fair, and Harbors Calm.

You will always be missed.
