Rose Piselli Obituary

Rose Marie Piselli
Rose Marie (Galletta) Piselli, 86, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Cesidio "Jesse" Piselli, whom she married on August 5, 1961. She entered into eternal rest on July 7, 2024. Born on February 28, 1938 in Bessemer, PA, daughter of the late John and Grace Galletta.
Rose Marie graduated from The Norwalk Hospital School of Nursing and received her Registered Nursing Degree on September 1, 1961. As a beloved Mother of 6, she dedicated her life to the care and nurturing of her children and grandchildren. She was a beautiful soul with a kind heart and infectious laugh, who loved and welcomed everyone into her home. Rose shared her love of board and card games with both family and friends, and insisted on being called "Mom/Aunt" by those close to her heart. She was well known for her incredible and delicious cooking and baking. Rose's door was always open for those in need of companionship and a good home cooked meal. Most of all, Rose will always be remembered by friends and family for her outpouring of love, kindness and generosity.
Rose Marie is survived by her 6 children, Anthony (Janet), Vincent (Michelle), Grace (Wayne Peladeau), John (Michele), Teresa (Alan DeFelice) and Diana; 16 cherished grandchildren: Heather, Anthony Jr. (Brielle), JaneMarie (Rachael), David (Jaclyn), Joseph (Skylar), GraceAnne, Marc (Brianna), Marie, Marcel, George (Becca), Stephen (Alesia), Charles, Daniel, Klayr, Cameron and Arianna; 5 great-grandchildren, Jackson, Cesidio, Genevieve, Leo and Macey. She is also survived by her brother Nunzio (Ann) Galletta and sister Carmella Rosile; and many extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her sister Antoinette Pugliese and brothers, Frank, Joseph and Anthony Galletta.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, July 15, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford.
