Ron was born in New Rockford, North Dakota and graduated from New Rockford Central High School. He graduated from Jamestown College with a degree in Business Administration. He received his Master's Degree in Taxation and Business from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA. He met his future wife, Audrey Monshauagen at Jamestown College and they were married June 22, 1958.
Ron worked at Bridgeman Russell Company (which was purchased by Foremost Dairies) during his college years. He was transferred to Duluth, MN and after a year to Minneapolis, MN. In 1963 he and Audrey were transferred to San Francisco and they lived in the Bay Area until his death.
Foremost Dairies was acquired by McKesson Corporation and Ron worked for them for 37 years. He retired in 1990 as Director of Tax Compliance.
Ron and Audrey enjoyed their retirement very much and cruising was their passion. They spent many hours delivering food for Meals on Wheels, Helping Hands and the "Helpers Organization." Ron also enjoyed gardening, His computer, watching the SF Giants, Warriors, 49ers and his Grandchildren.
Ron was a devoted husband of 64 years to his wife Audrey and loving father to his daughter Kristina.
He is survived by his daughter, son-in-law Froilan, granchildren: Kaylen and Bryce, his brother Ralph and sister Judy.
