Kevin Bernhardy Obituary

Gaffney, SC - Dr. Kevin Francis Bernhardy, 74, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at his home.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Bertram "Bud" Bernhardy and Patricia Cowin Bernhardy. A graduate of Sherman College of Chiropractic, he owned and operated Family Chiropractic Center in Gaffney where he practiced for 39 years.

Kevin was guided in life by a profound desire to help others, with his strong hands, his generous spirit, and his loving heart. He greatly cherished the community of his adopted hometown and created fast friendships with everyone he encountered.

Kevin was the loving companion of Agnes Parker and a caring presence for their family, Sarah Hartwick, (Erik) of Charlotte, NC; Andrew Parker (Adilia) of Charlotte, NC and Jack Kilbane of Gaffney, SC; he was also blessed with several grandchildren.

Survivors also include a son, Thomas Bernhardy and a brother, Paul Bernhardy (Susan) of Boone, NC.

No services are scheduled at this time.
