Dale Paquette Obituary

Faribault - Dale A. Paquette, age 83, of Faribault, MN passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at his home.

Dale Andrew, the son of Hilaire and Mildred (Bull) Paquette, was born on September 3, 1940 in Faribault, MN. Dale grew up in Cannon City, MN and attended Bethlehem Academy, graduating with the Class of 1958. Dale worked at Custom Glass & Mirror before working as a Warper for the Faribault Woolen Mill. He met the love of his life, Kathleen "Kay" LaCanne, after his sister's wedding and they were united in marriage on May 15, 1965 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Faribault. Dale enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, woodworking, watching Western TV shows, particularly John Wayne, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Dale is survived by his wife of 59 years, Kay; children, Kim (Gary) Eul, Kelley (Kurt) Yelle, Mark (Becky) Paquette, Todd (Melissa) Paquette, and Jay (Lisa) Paquette; grandchildren, Nate, Tyler, Heather, Benjamin, Lauren, Madison, Carter, Claire, McKenna, Emma, Zachary, Brendan, Mya, Elaina, and Emilia; great-grandson, Hudson; sisters-in-law, Judy (Mike) Thomas, Jane (Marty) Speikers, Linda (Mike) Thompson, and Jane LaCanne; brother-in-law, Dale (Shari) LaCanne; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bob Paquette and Stan Paquette; sister, Mary Alice (Bob) Cushman; mother and father-in-law, Eileen and Francis LaCanne; and brother-in-law, Dennis LaCanne.

Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 10:30 A.M. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home of Faribault with Bernadette Tatge, Pastoral Minister at Divine Mercy Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be held at the St. Lawrence Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
