FALL BRANCH - Charles Lynn Carr, 82, of Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord early Monday morning, March 11, 2024. Lynn was born in Sullivan County and moved to Fall Branch in 1956. He graduated from Fall Branch High School and went into the U.S. Army. Lynn retired from AFG Glass and enjoyed farming, fishing, and being a granddad. He was a Mason and a Shriner.
Lynn was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Helen Carr and several sisters and brothers.
Survivors include his daughters, Cindy Carr Hill and husband Roger, Christy Fitzgerald and husband, Archie; three granddaughters, Brittany Hensley, Lucy Oakes, and Grace Vogelsberg; five great-grandchildren, Stephen Hensley, Carson Hensley, Nataleigh Hensley, Eli Oakes, and Jonah Oakes; brother, Haynes Carr; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 1:00-2:30pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. A funeral service will be held at 2:30pm in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will follow at Lovelace Baptist Church Cemetery.

Love you Uncle Lynn! You were one of the most kindhearted men I knew and loved dearly! So many memories I have of the house on the hill as a child. Love you Christy and Cindy sending you all lots of love and prayers !
