Ronald Bogert Obituary

Ronald A. "Skip" Bogert, Jr., 61, of Kempton, passed away Jan. 16, 2026 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Brenda S. (Mengel) Bogert. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Ronald A. Bogert, Sr. and the late Linda (Foster) Bogert. He honorably served his country in the Army. Skip was a business owner, entrepreneur, and an industrial electrician at various companies throughout his career. He enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed football and watching the Raiders play.

Skip is survived by his wife of 33 years, Brenda, sons, Kyle Bogert and wife Jessica, Tyler Bogert, and Cody Bogert; grandchildren, Jordyn, Blake, and Eladie; siblings, Lori Tighe, Cheryl wife of Chris Wendt, and Joel Bogert; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements. A celebration of life will be held for Skip at a later time, time and location is TBD and all family and friends will be notified.
